Black Smoke
Kurilian Bobtail
A smoky island cat with a pom-pom tail
Personality
A sturdy, semi-longhaired cat in black smoke, with a silver undercoat that shows at the ruff and a short, fluffy pom-pom tail. The Kurilian Bobtail comes from the volcanic Kuril Islands between Japan and Russia, and unusually for a cat, it loves to splash in water.
Desktop Habits
Calm and clever: walks, sits and grooms in a steady rhythm, climbs now and then, and stalks patiently like the island hunter it is. Loyal, without being clingy.
With a Friend
The quiet hunter. Joins games when invited, keeps its friend company, and when pounced on, it rolls over for a play-wrestle.
